Tequila El Destilador Reposado Tequila is categorized as a Reposado. Type is determined by age, and this spirit is aged for 24 months. Generally, Reposado ("rested") tequilas are aged in wooden barrels between two and twelve months. A wide variety of barrels are used for aging, from French Oak to Whiskey barrels. The type of barrel will have a significant impact on the subtle flavors of the product.

It is very smooth, with a balanced and pleasant flavor. One of the best values we have found in our search for the worlds best tequilas.     While on vacation in Cancun. We took a tour of chitzen itza. On the bus on the way back, the tour guide shared this gem That he said was produced by his familia. We looked at every tequila store. And could not find it. It has great flavor and is very smooth, at room tempature as well as refrigerated!! I will be ordering these a couple at a time, every month!
