You know when you find “the one.” De-Nada Tequila is the result of an epic, three-year quest to find the perfect tequila. After visiting 10 distilleries, best friends and tequila enthusiasts Danny Neeson and Adam Millman visited Arandas in Jalisco, Mexico. It was here that these two millennial entrepreneurs found “the one” and initiated a collaboration with award-winning, 5th generation tequila producers, Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados. The distillery is renowned for its brick-oven roasted, estate-grown Blue Weber agaves and is the only producer in Mexico to use local, natural yeast in the fermentation process. The result is a tequila of remarkable purity and smoothness, with no additives or colorings ever used. De-Nada Reposado Tequila is rested for four months. To ensure a consistent color between batches, añejo tequila is added, rather than any coloring. It beckons with aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, pepper, caramel and cinnamon. On the palate, almond, cinnamon, caramel and vanilla merge with cooked agave. On the long and full-bodied finish, enchanting notes of roasted agave, peach and pineapple. This is a tequila that is ideally sipped neat or over ice.
