It is very sweet, and has a strange aftertaste. Think it has to be doctored up too much to make it worthwhile, and I was also disappointed in the product. Will stick with the more well known brand the next time, it may be commercial but it always tastes good. And no weird flavors.

I had high hopes for this product, the description was alluring. The drinking was another thing. Way too sweet, in my opinion, even a small amount in a cordial glass. Had to try it with ice, still not good. If you mix one part of it to two parts of tequila, it probably would be more drinkable. Disappointing.

Of course — flavored tequila is a delicious variation on the traditional Mexican liquor that sees an extra “oomph” added. Flavors range widely, from spices to coffees, citrus to tropical fruit and you will find plenty of other categories to enjoy as well. You can choose from añejo or reposado flavored tequilas, as well as varieties with different types of agave.
Tequila gets its flavor primarily from the type of agave used. Growing and harvesting agave is an exacting science and plants grown in different regions taste noticeably different. For example, agaves from a valley tend to impart an earthy quality to the tequila, while highland agaves usually create fruitier, sweeter tequila.
