Product Description

Brugal Anejo is a premium dark rum that has been distilled not once, not twice but endlessly to produce the cleanest, smoothest spirit. This pure spirit is then aged for up to 5 years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon at Casa Brugal. There where the barrel houses are positioned north to south to make the most of the Dominican sun. Brugal Anejo welcomes you with rich aromas of vanilla, chocolate and cedarwood. On the palate, notes of butterscotch and baked pie lead into a long and dry finish. Brugal Anejo is equally great as a sipping rum or mixed in long drinks and cocktails. Highly recommended for rum lovers looking for a top quality rum.

Very good rum for the price. Used it to make a mixed drink with ginger beer and caramel so didn't drink it straight.

I ❤?Domincan ?? Rum #Brugal Anejo. It's smooth, not to sweet, and Mix well with a Splash of Coke ( I prefer ?? Mex. Coke bottle, has Real sugar) and a Lime It's better than a Jack&Coke?... Why? Cause it makes you Smile sooner? must be the molasses in the Rum.?

I once had an aged Dominican rum that was great for sipping. This is not that rum, but it’s not bad either.

Extremely smooth rum - great "neat" or on the rocks

FAQs

You'll also find this called Amber Rum. This rum is aged in wooden casks, which gives it that golden color. Those wooden casks also change the flavor of the rum a bit - making this rum varietal taste more smoky-sweet. The longer rum is aged, the darker it will become. The main difference between white (or light) rum and gold rum is aging. White rum is aged for less time than this variety which changes the color and flavor.
No, gold rum and dark rum are different. Gold rum is a golden, amber hue. Dark rum is well aged rum from charred barrels. Both are rich in flavor, but dark rum is more full bodied and has more of a molasses flavor than gold rum.
Yes, but it's not going to taste the same. Since gold rum has a darker color and bolder flavor, it's not the classic match for mojitos. Mojitos are clear and refreshing - making white rum the best option.
Absolutely. Both gold and white rum are perfect options for your piña colada. Gold rum is a versatile rum that can go with a number of different tropical drinks. The only we would not recommend is a mojito - as white rum is the best pair for this cocktail.
