Campari is an Italian aperitivo with a signature red color and versatile bitter flavor. Campari is a staple ingredient for your home bar as it is the base for dozens of classic cocktails and variations including the Negroni. I have been using Campari for more than 40 years! I was originally introduced to it by a then boyfriend from Italy whom I met on a vacation. We drank it as just a Campari and Soda, however over time I began to experiment with it in different ways and with various other liquors, sodas, juices, etc. I currently have been enjoying it by mixing it with a flavored carbonated beverage and some OJ & a little bit of Vodka (I buy Ciroc or Grey Goose), also a flavored one! I’ve used the Orange, Citrus, Coconut, Vanilla, and a few others (not all worked out well). This is one member of my bar that I’m never without! Please don’t try it out by drinking it straight up - it’s very bitter and really needs to be mixed with something to complement the flavor! Hope this helps someone!

Comparing to Aperol, Campari is slightly more bitter and a little less sweet. Depending on your preference, I like Campari with whiskeys and Aperol with clear liquors.

There was a little bit that leaked out ... cap was still sealed though just a little twisted. I'm guessing it just bounced around in the bag during delivery.
