Product description

The Botanist Gin is the first and only Islay Dry Gin from Islay, Scotland. A versatile dry gin that is crafted using a unique combination of 22 botanicals that are hand-foraged locally and sustainably on the Scottish island of Islay. These botanicals are picked at varying times of the year, and can only be picked when it’s dry—a frequent challenge on Islay! Our dedicated forager then carefully and meticulously dry all of the botanicals in order to be infused during our slow, simmer distillation process. This incredible attention to detail results in a beautifully complex and elegantly smooth gin with a versatile flavor profile that is perfect for cocktails. This botanical breath of Islay is captured in a stunning glass bottle that features the 22 hand-picked botanicals etched in Latin and is best served in a classic Botanist & Tonic, or as a perfectly chilled martini. We encourage you to experiment with the local & seasonal flavors around you when making your unique Botanist cocktail. Lavender syrup, gin , rosemary sprigs, lemon slice and ice, is the perfect S/S 2023 cocktail and is great for a stylish dinner party if you get the glassware right!

It's a nice gin I didn't really care for it.it was too floral for me, kinda tasted like I was drinking cocktails with flowers inside of it. I tried it neat as well as mixed, mixed is much better but it's just not for me

So we discovered this gin while we were in Cypress and it was a favorite of our British friends and now I can't get enough of this wonderful gin. Its light and blends well with everything.

Full bodied, just the right amount of burn, flavorful with 22 botanicals, and a smooth finish. You'd be hard pressed to find a gin that can compete. The bottle is also a pretty display, featuring the ingredients in an embossed print that wraps the bottle. Smooth enough to drink straight or with a twist, but just as flavorful for the classic G&T. I've tried many and this one is my favorite. A bit pricey but it's worth it.

I used this to make a Lychee Gimlet and it tasted great since the gin is a little sweet. More pricey compared to others available but it does have a different flavor. Won't be my main gin but I'll grab it for special occasions

The Botanist Gin is definitely a different flavor than other gins. The notes of juniper gives off a rare sweetness which adds to any summer gin cocktail. It is by far my favorite mainstream gin on the market.

I'm an avid gin drinker & Botanist has been on my list to try. It has notes mint, sweet and floral from the infusion of botanicals. Hints of vanilla and liquorice with earthy tones makes for a smooth finish. It's versatile enough for a gin & tonic or a craft cocktail. The bottle is beautiful & a great addition to my home bar.
