Fruit brandy is a delicious alcoholic beverage that typically includes brandies made from fruits other than grapes. Brandy itself is usually made from distilled wine, but its definition includes any fruits — even options like apples, pineapples and berries. Therefore, “fruit” brandy tends to exclude plain brandies made from grapes.
The most common fruit used to make brandy is the grape, and brandy can simply be thought of as distilled wine.
