Because isn't that the whole point?
The 2011 Emile Beranger Pouilly-Fuisse is a phenomenal white wine that drinks more like an expensive Mersault. This wine is a favorite of Georges Duboeuf the King of Beaujolais because he grew up in this region and has always enjoyed a lovely glass of Pouilly-Fuisse. This is 100 Chardonnay that has been partially aged in French Oak for 6 months which gives the wine a slight hint of almonds and cinnamon on the nose. The real magic is when you first sip the wine and get such a delicate lime and green apple taste on your tongue. This is ideal with grilled salmon or sea bass, asparagus veloute, lobster bisque and light pasta dishes. Country France, Region BurgundyView all products by George Beranger
