Goose Island is best known for their iconic Goose IPA, but each of their brews is distinct and flavorful, like the 312 Urban Wheat Ale. This brew, made from a mix of three hops and two-row, torrified wheat, won a gold medal at the 2010 Great American Beer Festival. The 312 Urban Wheat is a fruity, smooth ale that feels incredible going down. There is a pleasant tartness to this lighter beer that brings a complex array of flavors to the palette.
Based in Chicago, IL Goose Island Brewery started as a simple brewpub in 1988. Years of successful craft brews led to opening the proper brewery in 1995 and the Goose Island empire has not stopped chugging along ever since.
Goose Island insists all their beer is brewed for food. Try the 312 Urban Wheat alongside a light dish. A salad or appetizer is the perfect companion for this creamy ale.
