Everything from burgers and brats to prime rib and grilled game, hearty, sausage dishes, and lamb …and for vegetables, fear not, it pairs well with bitter vegetables like eggplant, arugula or radicchio. As for cheese, the standard rule of ‘matching intensity’ does not apply. Cabernet is best served with mild to moderate cheeses.
