    All about Snapple

Snapple is one of those ultra-nostalgic brands, especially for millennials who used to pop the lids off these bottles while spending days on the playground. Introduced in 1972, Snapple is an all-American brand based in New York. Snapple focused on health-centric juices with a strong foothold in the New England market in its early years. However, when the company crafted its staple, preservative-free, ultra-tasty iced tea in the 1980s, the Snapple brand became a household name.

Snapple has continued to innovate and provide American kids (and let’s be honest, adults too) with a better beverage than major soda brands that traditionally dominate the market. Celebrity sponsors, playful names (like Snapple Apple juice) and super colorful marketing keep the brand feeling youthful and indulgent. Iced teas and fruity lemonades remain the most successful products, but new flavor combinations and sustainable packaging have helped Snapple evolve in other ways. The Snapple Facts initiative, in which the satisfying poppable lid included a random fun fact on the bottom, was started in 2002, and new facts are added every year.

Recently, Snapple’s parent company has expanded into the adult beverage market. Snapple Spiked is a line of hard iced teas designed with just as much cheer as the original brand. The vodka-based canned teas feature enticing flavors like watermelon and mango raspberry, each with 5.5% ABV.
