Elysian Brewing Company, located in Seattle, WA, is an extremely special and unique brewery that is involved in a variety of projects, restaurants, innovative and experimental brewing styles, and also fun local events. Elysian isn't your average brewery, because in 1996 a 220-seat beer hall was opened along with the brewery. This is very much a community driven brewery with an emphasis on providing an immensely wide variety of different beers to cater to everyone's taste buds. Elysian has created over 350 different recipe variations, experimenting with a new style each week.
Elysian Space Dust IPA immediately catches your attention with its golden yellow color, creamy white head (foam), and floral, herbal, and fruity notes. A lot of domestic IPA's can really go over the top with the hops, leaving the bitter aftertaste too much to handle. Elysian Space Dust IPA is a perfect balance of hops, citrus fruit, and alcohol potency. Coming in at 8.2% ABV, it has the character and flavor of a beer with less ABV, which is impressive and an overall great quality of this IPA. Elysian also maintains the integrity of their brew by not filtering which is an important factor in keeping the beer as natural as can be.
You can find Elysian bars, restaurants, and brew pubs in numerous neighborhoods across the city of Seattle, each one represented by the style of that particular neighborhood. Along with these properties, they also host an annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival, where they showcase their flagship pumpkin beers and spread the love that is Elysian beer. If you're looking for one of the great and unique IPA's, look no further than Elysian Space Dust IPA.
