Fresh as mint with a traditional twist. This cocktail provides a Mexican twist on the French classic by using the traditional crémant wine and aloe vera liqueur. The aloe plant is very similar to the agave, making for a truly refreshing Collins.
½ part El Tesoro Blanco tequila
1 part Chareau aloe vera liqueur
2 parts crémant wine
Fresh Mint for garnish
Ice cube tray
How to Mix
Start by combining large, rectangular ice with a cucumber slice in a Collins glass
Then add the tequila and the Chareau, mix with a barspoon and top it with crémant wine
Heat and passion blended. When the sweetness of agave is combined with the heat of chili pepper, the result immediately appeals to the palate. These serrano peppers from Puebla are slightly hotter than jalapeños, but they add a hint of excitement to the passionfruit puree and lime juice. Chili pepper always works with Reposado, bringing out the earthy, peppery notes of the tequila.
This is a cocktail with true depth, like its namesake. The color comes from the tamarind puree, and the mild bitterness is typical of the fruit the puree is made from. Adding layers of flavor with lime and orange accentuates the complexity of the Reposado.
