Liston is determined to prove that with outstanding winemaking techniques and good planning she can create wines that perform way above their reasonable price points. The Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon is one of their original bottles and combines grapes form all over California to create a wine of excellent balance, with both juicy fruit flavors and a dry finish. The wine is fermented with skin contact to enhance tannins for a robust and hearty feel.
The Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon will greet your nose with inviting notes of cassis, blackberry jam, cocoa and ripe bell pepper. On the palette you'll find intense flavors of bakers chocolate and espresso balanced with black current and layers of rich black fruit. This is an ideal pair with red meat, lamb or a summer barbecue.
