Because isn't that the whole point?
Named after the original Jaguar factory in Coventry England, Crispin's Browns Lane is a traditional English cider made with cider apples that are sourced in the Malvern Hills of Worcestershire. Authentically British, from its bespoke tailoring, to its superb craftsmanship, most defined by its world champion character. Traditional English cider is made from bittersweet cider apples, a variety that is generally more acidic and tannic than American apples and not widely available in the United States. That's why Crispin Browns Lane is a truly authentic English dry cider using the fermented juice of English bittersweet cider apples specially imported from the United Kingdom since 2011. This hard apple cider is then blended and packaged in the US.
Crispin ciders are naturally fermented using the raw, unpasteurized juice of fresh-pressed apples. Through classic cold-fermentation and specially selected wine yeasts, they stay true to the fruit with authentic flavors and unique aromatic notes that are only present in fresh-pressed cider. All Crispin ciders are certified Gluten-free
A lightly sparkling, crisply effervescent cider. Crispin Browns Lane is dark straw in appearance with a semi-brilliant richness. The slight brettanomyces aroma lends to an almost traditional farmhouse cider bouquet. Soft, subtle natural apple sweetness up front, brett and tannins mid palate move in to a slightly woody dry lingering. Ciders have grown increasingly popular in recent years, and with crisp, less sweet cider options such as Crispin Browns Lane it's easy to see why. Crispin Browns Lane is the perfect gluten-free alternative to beer. At 5.8% ABV it is a great sessionable cider option that's not too sweet, but still imparts enough flavor to enjoy while watching the game or with a meal.
