Because isn't that the whole point?
It’s not complicated to understand the affinity that Grenache has with Syrah. They’ve been blended together for centuries in Southern France and Spain. Taken’s 2011 “Complicated” was sourced from vineyards in the Central Coast AVA. Grenache (53%) supplied bright red fruit and a juicy palate while Syrah (45%) contributed blue and blackberry flavors, spice as well as tannic structure. The 5% Carignane added depth and dark color. Complicated Red Wine offers a complex palate of flavors you might expect in a more expensive wine. So it’s not complicated to see that this wine will rock a backyard barbecue.View all products by Taken Wine
