Cognac Cocktails

Cognac Recipes

Named after the town of Cognac, France, Cognac is a variety of Brandy made with white grapes from the Charente region of France. Cognac's complex flavors allow it to stand out in many simple cocktails, like the Sidecar and French 75. Sharing a lot of the same aged sweetness that a bourbon or rum might have, cognac can be sipped by itself by the fire or used to liven up your favorite cocktails. While high end Cognacs are often kept locked away for special occasions, any good mixologist will tell you that this spirit should be a bartending staple.
