A well-balanced wine, resulting from a selected blend of Montepulciano (55%) and Sangiovese (45%). It is a classic lively and firm wine which, thanks to its contact with wood, offers interesting tertiary evolutions.After maturing for fourteen months in Slovenian oak barrels, it is aged in bottles for at least 6 months.
It is particularly soft and well-balanced both to the mouth and to the nose. Ruby red with light hints of garnet, offering aromas of dry fruit, jams, spices and aromatic herbs.The taste is intense and persistent, of baked plum, fresh liquorice root and hints of cocoa.It is best appreciated with meat and game and enhances intense flavours (truffles and mature cheeses).
Its balance also makes it ideal for the young public and for a more informal consumption.
