Sweet red fruits, baking spices, notes of old concrete/auto body shop floor, leather, with light floral notes that delicately interlace along the this truly wonderful aromatic experience. Taste: Tart cherry, raspberries, clove, blueberries, crimini mushrooms, with a whisper of aged wood (like old railroad ties). Overall: In the mouth this is all silk, light body, med+ acidity, med- tannin. There is an immense density of flavor on a whisper of the palate. This is a wine that calls to mind the grace of a ballet dancer with the intensity of an endurance athlete. Classic Musar...and a wine that has few equals. In honor of Bart Broadbent who made tasting the '84 Rouge possible I'll use the five * system.
