A delicious sangria with a bit of a twist. The blood orange enhances a typical citrus-forward sangria into something more sophisticated. The added cinnamon makes it perfect for a chilly winter day.


  • 2 bottles of Chilled Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 6 oz Brandy
  • 6 oz Orange Liqueur
  • 8 oz Fresh Squeezed Blood Orange Juice
  • Fresh Blood Orange Sliced
  • Cinnamon Sticks


  • Pitcher
  • Bar spoon
  • Measuring cup

How to Mix

  1. Add cut blood orange slices to a pitcher, add brandy and orange liqueur
  2. Pour in chilled wine and drop in cinnamon sticks
  3. Stir well, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours
  4. Stir well and enjoy over ice
