Just tried it again after 40 years and I love it. But it's hard to find in Bradenton Fl.

I get the PBR can 30 pack. Best value in town. As we approach the Super Bowl, Beer prices have gone up since last year. This is your best value. :-)

I have been drinking PBR since high school (my dad worked for Schlitz. Hated it). I’m almost 60 now and still enjoy PBR. Who’d a thunk it. Rock on. From Wisconsin

Ordered Pabst but didn’t get Pabst. Not sure if this part of review is supposed to be judging the product …but if you are judging Pabst Blue Ribbon by this review, it’s still a 3

Not my preferred bourbon chaser but it will work in a pinch. There’s nothing wrong with a good old fashioned American beer.

FAQs

American lagers tend to offer a much lighter body than other styles, very little (or no) bitterness, and lower ABV. Sometimes called "mass market" lagers, production focuses less on complex flavors, and more on reproducing pale, crushable consistency in every can or bottle.
When it comes to flavor, think...neutral, and not in a bad way. There's not too much of any flavor, with a balance of grain and corn flavors, with a low to medium-low hop bitterness. Craft beer drinkers will probably find the hop flavors to be subdued.
The alcohol by volume (ABV) of American lagers is usually in the 4% - 5% range.
