It’s like drinking acid, sets off my acid reflux like non other. But if you have the stomach for it and don’t mind tasting your stomach acids, it’ll do the job.

Daniel Angela Best beer out there! Smooth with great flavor. Bad part, store can't keep it in stock around me IT'S THAT GOOD!
Joel Lauer I've always been a fan of Pabst Blue Ribbon, but this extra early hits the mark.
Thomas Verified BuyerVerified BuyerDid not get my Pabst Extra that I ordered. I got regular Pabst "Tall Boys." No idea why it was switched. Maybe no product. I like regular PBR's...just like the Pabst Extra...a little..."extra" bit more. I like beers over the 4-5% ABV range, but below 10%ABV. 3 stars for not getting my Pabst Extra (6.5%).

FAQs
American lagers tend to offer a much lighter body than other styles, very little (or no) bitterness, and lower ABV. Sometimes called "mass market" lagers, production focuses less on complex flavors, and more on reproducing pale, crushable consistency in every can or bottle.
When it comes to flavor, think...neutral, and not in a bad way. There's not too much of any flavor, with a balance of grain and corn flavors, with a low to medium-low hop bitterness. Craft beer drinkers will probably find the hop flavors to be subdued.
The alcohol by volume (ABV) of American lagers is usually in the 4% - 5% range.
