Coors Light is a staple of the American beer industry. Founded way back in the 1800's by Adolph Coors, the genesis of the family of Coors beers is centered around a search for the best natural water in the continental United States. The freshly sourced Rocky Mountain spring water was decidedly perfect for brewing clean, German-style lagers and thus, the brewery was established in Golden, Colorado. A century later, recipes finely tuned, but constantly developing, Coors Light was finally released in 1978 to overwhelming response.
Pouring a crisp, clear, malted yellow with a fizzy white head, a glass of this ice cold lager simply looks thirst quenching. Brewed with high country, two-row barley, and four different varieties of aromatic hops, Coors Light tastes as fresh as is does refreshing. As the tiny bubbles fizz into your face, there is a slight but noticeable noble hop aroma, that of wet earth and green leaves. The flavor is incredibly pure. Being a traditionally brewed lager, the entire process of fermentation, filtration, and packaging is done at cold temperature, reducing any unwanted, over the top flavors, resulting in this extra clean tasting beer.
Coors Light is a perfect beer for a weekend getaway into your local mountains. A great choice to stock a cooler for your college football tailgate. An excellent decision for your neighborhood potluck dinner. Drink it cold and enjoy it with friends.
