Dos Equis is a crisp, golden pilsner-style lager from Mexico with earthy tones and just the right balance of flavor and refreshment. Firstly brewed by German brewmaster Wilhelm Hasse in the end of the 19th century in Mexico and imported since 1983 in the USA, authentic Mexicon lager beer.View all products by Dos EquisCalifornia Residents: Click here for Proposition 65 WARNING
Dos Equis Lager is one of the cleanest, crispest lagers coming out of Mexico today. Often overshadowed by its biggest fan, the most interesting man in the world, it's easy to forget just how mouthwatering and refreshing this beer can be. First brewed in 1897 and named in honor of the upcoming 20th century (XX!) there should always be a trace of excitement on your face when an ice cold bucket of this exemplary brew is sitting atop the dinner table.
Brewed with true German inspiration, Dos Equis Lager is fermented cold, allowing the mix of barley and other sugars to slowly work themselves into alcohol without creating any unwanted flavors. This well-filtered beer is as invigorating as it gets with its nuanced notes of malt, spice and earth tones. It's full of flavor, yet exquisitely subdued. The choice hops are a wonderful complement to the ever so lightly kilned malts leaving just a trace of bitterness on the finish, inviting you back for another sip each time that you move the bottle away from your lips.
Dos Equis Lager is clearly meant to pair with the most interesting foods in the world, not just your average Mexican cuisine. Why not give it a shot with a kobe beef taco topped with Beluga caviar, truffles and brie or perhaps a bit of caramel covered popcorn sprinkled with 23 karat edible gold flakes? Enjoy it while watching football from the owner's suite or while picnicking on a private island.
