Product description

The beer that started it all for Samuel Adams. This unmistakable, full-flavored beer sparked a movement to bring better beer to U.S. drinkers. Boston Lager illustrates our core mission to brew flavorful, complex and delicious beers. To this day it’s made using the same recipe that Jim Koch used in 1984. Boston Lager® remains our most popular beer ever made.

Another old standby for me. I like it because it's richer, fuller, and tastier than most mainstream lagers.

Wasn't thrilled about it. Even though it was the wrong beer, I still drank it. It was ok. Not my brand. I wanted to try the Cherry Wheat. Maybe next time.

Standard beer between dark and light. I recommend this when you like dark beer but what something lighter.

I personally do not drink beer but the person I bought it for absolutely loves the beer. And was very happy with the delivery of it.

Strictly speaking, there are multiple kinds of amber beers, but what we'll talk about today is amber lagers. These lagers are so popular they're a widely distributed, sessionable craft beer style that showcases a balance between malt and hops.
Amber lagers are medium-bodied beers with a toasty or sweet malt character (think caramel). Hop bitterness can range from very low to medium-high, depending on the brewer, but all in all they tend to be very balanced and drinkable.
These beers tend to be on the lower side of the ABV (alcohol by volume) spectrum, landing somewhere in the 4.5% to 5.5% range, landing them in the "session beer" category.
