Brewed in honor of the 1000th batch at our original Clybourn brewpub. A liquid as dark and dense as a black hole with thick foam the color of a bourbon barrel. The nose is an intense mix of charred oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel and smoke. One sip has more flavor than your average case of beer.View all products by Goose IslandCalifornia Residents: Click here for Proposition 65 WARNING

Fantastic beer, best whiskey barrel brew I've tried!. A BIT pricey by comparison to some similar stouts, they make one that is barrel brew where they partnered with Knob Creek, and it's in some places almost twice as much as this one, but well worth the cost if you can afford the indulgence. Goose Island is legit brewer all the way around, the IPA is quite good, but this stout is other level goodness.
