Westmalle Tripel is a clear, golden yellow Trappist beer that undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is a complex beer with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional beer, with a great deal of finesse and elegance. And with a splendid long aftertaste. ABV 9.5

Westmalle Tripel is a true Trappist brought to life in the 1930s and is said to be the "mother of all tripels." This golden-yellow Trappist uses three times the ingredients of the original recipe. Aromas of ripe banana and subtle hops infused with hints of citrus, coriander and passion fruit give this full-mouthed brew its sweet flavor.

Westmalle Trappist Tripel gets its individuality from the slow brewing process and re-fermentation in the bottle. It's deemed authentic by the International Trappist Association. The brewery is located within an abbey, where the monks oversee the brewing process. Sip this Trappist Tripel with sweet fruits or dry-aged beef, or add it to recipes for heightened flavor.
