In 1900, three German brewers established Cervecería del Pacifico in the small Mexican port town of Mazatlán. Soon, a thirst for Pacifico spread from Sinaloa up the Baja coastline.   Fast forward to the early 1970s. As the story goes, a group of California surfers ventured south and found themselves in Baja, where they discovered a beloved local beer called Pacifico.

Excited by their find, they returned to Southern California with the exceptionally drinkable pilsner-style lager, becoming the first importers of Pacifico. Today, our journey from cantinas in Baja, to the beaches of SoCal, to places off the beaten path has made Pacifico a symbol of discovery and adventure.
