The folks at Cisco Brewery perfectly embody the pioneering spirit behind one of our favorite beverages - craft beer. Their story began in the 1990s, oddly enough, with a winery.
Nantucket Vineyard, on the Massachusetts island of the same name, drew Randy and Wendy Hudson from the sunshine state of California to assist with winemaking. Wendy's homebrewing chops and Randy's experience with grain and yeast (he'd previously worked at a bakery) were soon charged with inspiration from all that wine happening around them.
It wasn't long before beer production began. An initial lack of indoor facilities sparked the creation of America's only outdoor brewery, with only the air-conditioned cold room not found under the deep blue sky. By 1996, Cisco moved indoors to a newly constructed building to meet the increasing demand for their fine wares.
Drizly is happy to offer several of Cisco's iconic products. Stock up on classics like Whale's Tail Pale Ale, Grey Lady Ale and their Indie IPA. Alternately, check out exotics such as the cherry-tinged Monomoy Kriek, Cranberry Woods or Gripah Grapefruit IPA.
