    The BACARDÍ heritage is a proud one. We gave the world the original Cuban Piña Colada - a mellow rum cocktail best made with fresh coconut water and pineapple just as it was back in 1922.

    Ingredients

    • 2 parts BACARDÍ Superior rum
    • 1 ½ parts fresh coconut water 
    • 1 part fresh pineapple juice 
    • 3 - 4 chunks fresh pineapple 
    • 2 tsp caster sugar

    Tools

    • Shaker
    • Muddler
    • Bar spoon
    • Ice cube tray
    • Collins glass

    How to Mix

    1. Place the pineapple chunks into a cocktail shaker and crush them lightly using a muddler or bar spoon
    2. Pour in the pineapple juice and coconut water
    3. Stir it all up to dissolve the sugar before pouring in the BACARDÍ Superior rum. 
    4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously. 
    5. Pour the mix into a tall glass over crushed ice. 
    6. Garnish with a pineapple slice and lime.
