Father’s Day cocktails to pair with that racket you call music.

He’s a legend. A hero. A dad joke champion.

And today’s his day to shine. Now hold your phone a few feet in front of him so he can pick a cocktail to mix up.

  • Johnnie Walker Highball

    You’ll need: 1.5 oz. Johnnie Walker Black Label, 4.5 oz. soda water, 1 lemon wedge. Steps: Combine Johnnie Walker and soda water in a highball glass with ice. Squeeze in lemon wedge and stir.
  • Basil Hayden’s Ginger Buck

    You’ll need: 2 parts Basil Hayden’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 1 part lime juice, 1/2 part fresh ginger, 1/3 part simple syrup, garnish with rosemary and candied ginger. Steps: In a cocktail shaker, add fresh ginger and muddle until fine. Add in ice and all remaining ingredients and shake until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and a piece of candied ginger on the rim.
  • The Glenlivet New Old Fashioned

    You’ll need: 2 parts Glenlivet 14 Year Old, 2 dashes orange bitters, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, 1/4 part simple syrup. Steps: In an old fashioned glass, add Glenlivet, bitters and simple syrup until blended. Add one large ice cube and stir.
  • Angel’s Envy Whiskey Smash

    You’ll need: 2 parts Angel’s Envy Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels, 1 part simple syrup, 1/4 lemon cut into 2 or 3 pieces, 3 to 4 sprigs of spearmint. Steps: Muddle the mint and lemon in a mixing glass. Add Angel's Envy and simple syrup. Add ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with the sprig of mint.
  • Hennessy over ice

    You’ll need: 2-3 oz Hennessy X.O. And some ice. Steps: Put 1 to 3 crystal clear ice cubes in a rocks glass. Then pour the Hennessy X.O. over it. What? This recipe is as no-nonsense as your old man.
