The Angel’s Envy Black Manhattan.
Stirring up one of the classics since 2005.
You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. So it’s a good thing we only deal with drinks. Enter the Angel’s Envy Black Manhattan, a new spin on the ole classic cocktail. Finished in port wine barrels, the bourbon itself will add smooth and bittersweet dimensions to your Manhattan. Add in the fact that the drink uses Averna, a Sicilian amaro, in place of sweet vermouth and you’ve got yourself a certified groundbreaker. New tricks are fun, right? Sit. Stay. Good, Angel’s Envy Black Manhattan.
This modern classic was created by Todd Smith at Bourbon & Branch in San Francisco, circa 2005.
