Bringing Summer To You

Memorial Day weekend has always served as the unofficial start of summer. But since most of our summer plans are on hold for the time being, we came up with three ways to bring those fun-in-the-sun-splish-splash-chill-cool vibes right to wherever you’re celebrating.

First: Listen to our summer playlist

And by “summer playlist” we of course mean a bunch of songs that contain the words “summer”, “sun” or “heat.”

  • The Official Drizly Summer Bippity Boppity Cool Vibes Playlist

Sublime, The Beach Boys, James Taylor. You're basically getting tan just thinking about this playlist.
    Give it a listen

Second: Try one of these summery drinks

We made recipes for everything, from DIY boozy ice pops to boozy s’mores milkshakes to fruity drinks that also contain the word “boozy.”

  • Boozy S'mores Milkshake

The only thing that could possibly make this drink more quintessential summer is if you drank it with the entire cast of The Sandlot. A tasty, sweet, definitely strong Boozy S'mores Milkshake that can be made indoors or outdoors.

  • Absolut Moscow Mule

A cool, Moscow mule is the perfect summer drink. Plus it doubles as a stylish copper accessory if you have the right cups. For this, all you'll need is 1½ parts Absolut Vodka, ½ part lime juice, ginger beer, 1 wedge of lime and ice cubes. Fill a mule mug with ice cubes. Add Absolut Vodka and lime juice. Top up with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge.

  • Grilled Summer Peach Margarita

This frozen summer cocktail brings together two summer staples: fresh peaches and the grill. The result is a smoky, herbaceous riff on a frozen margarita, where the char on the peaches matches perfectly with the finish of smoky mezcal.
