Being there when it matters

We believe good times with others are important. The connections and interactions we have balance us, enrich us and are the reward for all the routine happenings in our lives. In this way, good times are sustaining, even essential to our well-being. And good times share the same core. From a spur-of-the-moment movie night to a spare-no-expense party of the year, every one shares the same specifics: friends and family nearby, laughs in the air, and sometimes, a drink in hand.

Our purpose at Drizly is to be there when it matters – for these life moments and for the people who create them. We’re here to help you create moments you’ll remember, look back on, and smile. 

To that end, we believe that alcohol should be treated as a craft and as an optional complement to good times, not as a coping mechanism. We take our role in this incredibly seriously. Being there when it matters means being there for those good times, and being there differently for those who may need support. A message on COVID-19

We know these are incredibly challenging times. The following organizations have put together resources to help you stay supported, connected, and healthy during the COVID-19 crisis. 

  • Vibrant Emotional Health

    Drizly has chosen to support Vibrant Emotional Health, a non-profit organization with programs that offer mental health resources and help around the clock, including:

    A digital safe space to provide you with extra support or coping tools in an emotionally safe environment. 

    The Disaster Distress Helpline, which is dedicated to providing emotional support for anyone who has experience a disaster, including the COVID-19 crisis. You can call 1-800-985-5990 or text TalkWithUs to 66746.

    Resources to deal with stress and coping. The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) may be stressful for people. Fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. Coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger.

  • The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration

    The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities. SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a confidential, free, 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year service.

  • SMART Recovery

    A global community of free mutual-support groups. At meetings, participants help one another resolve problems with any addiction (to drugs or alcohol or to activities such as gambling or over-eating). Participants find and develop the power within themselves to change and lead fulfilling and balanced lives.

  • Alcoholics Anonymous

    Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of people who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.
