Introducing Patron Roca 

Roca Patrón is not your average tequila. Created in small batches and finished at its own individual proof, all batches of Roca Patrón are curated using the ancient tahona process. This process includes using a two-ton volcanic stone to crush the Blue Weber Agave plants which allows for preservation of the agave fibers. The next step is create the 3 variants of Roca Patrón, where each variant begins its journey with the aging process.

    Roca Patrón Varietals

    • Roca Patrón Silver 

      After undergoing the tahona process Roca Patrón Silver completes no aging time. It has a smooth and earthy flavor that has tasting notes of black pepper, pumpkin and lime tea.

    • Roca Patrón Reposado 

      After completing the tahona process, Roca Patrón Reposado undergoes 5 month of aging in bourbon barrels. The result is a sweeter tequila with boldly pronounced notes of roasted agave.

    • Roca Patrón Añejo

      Upon completion of the tahona process, Roca Patrón Añejo is transferred to bourbon barrels where it completes a 14 month aging process. Roca Patrón Añejo has an individual flavor profile with notes of wood, nuts, raisins and grapefruit.

    To create this cocktail begin by combining  ingredients in a collins glass and stirring to combine. Finish it off by garnishing with apple slices.

    1.5 oz Roca Patrón Reposado
    3 oz Fresh dark apple cider
    .75 oz Crème de cassis
    .5 oz Spiced syrup*
    + Apple slices for garnish

    *Spiced syrup:
    Grind 2 cups cinnamon sticks, 1 cup star anise, 1 cup cloves and 1 cup Szechuan peppercorns. Add 5 cups simple syrup and simmer until a prominent flavor develops. Let cool, then fine strain.

    To make this cocktail being by "rinsing" a chilled rocks glass with absinthe or Herbsaint by swirling the spirit, allowing it to coat the glass, then discard the excess. Then, in a mixing glass, combine Roca Patrón Añejo, simple syrup, and bitters. Add ice and stir to chill, and strain the mixture into the absinthe-seasoned rocks glass. Finish up by garnishing with a lemon peel.

    2 oz Roca Patrón Añejo
    .5 oz Simple syrup
    1 dash Angostura bitters
    1 dash Peychaud's bitters
    1 dash Absinthe
    + Lemon peel for garnish
