This rare jewel from Armand de Brignac is rooted in the terrior of Montagne de Reims, with the 100% Pinot Noir champagne crafted using exceptional fruit from some of the most iconic black grape villages in the region, such as Verzenay, Chigny-les-Roses and Rilly-la-Montagne. The first assemblage – released in November 2015 – was a total release of less than 3,000 bottles for the world. It is a trio of vintages; 2006, 2008 & 2009.
Peach, apricot and red berry aromas are followed by crystalized citrus, orange blossom and hints of brioche. The palate has power and vinosity that reveal fresh red fruits, hints of mint and a very light toastiness.
Pair this Blanc de Noirs as you would a red Burgundy; glazed duck breast, roasted pork tenderloin and oven baked salmon fillet.
