Not to namedrop, but we’re pretty — shall we say, “friendly” — with Castle Rock. No biggie. It’s just the... biggest town in the entire state of Colorado. Over 60,000 people and it’s still not designated as a city because it’s just too chill. Guess you could say that life’s pretty sweet as a result. Things are pretty laid-back; folks like to read and hang out and play golf and take forays into the mountains and all that — and that’s just on the weekdays. It’s understandable since literally over a quarter of the entire town is parks and open spaces. Life can also feel a bit restricted here, though, since the words “traffic” and “inner-city congestion” are strictly forbidden. So is going a week without stepping outside and smiling ear to ear. But other than that, everything’s pretty much to code.
