This is hands down the best drink I have ever created. No joke. It is sweet, bright, herbacious and packs a punch. It's got a great flavor profile that allows just enough of the bourbon come through, but it's not an overwhelmingly 'stong' bourbon taste. I can't stop making it.


  • 6 oz Bourbon
  • 1 lemon 
  • 6 blackberries
  • 1.5 oz rosemary simple syrup
  • Rosemary sprigs for garnish


  • Muddler
  • Hawthorne strainer
  • Shaker

How to Mix

  1. Muddle berries in a shaker. 
  2. Pour in juice from one lemon, alcohol and simple syrup. 
  3. Shake with ice. 
  4. Strain (if desired, for berry seeds), and pour into glass with ice. 
  5. Garnish with rosemary sprig and serve.
