Most of the calories in cocktails come from sugar packed mixers like juice or soda, swapping those ingredients for the all-natural stuff is an easy way to keep your drinks low on calories but full of flavor. Another tip is to avoid darker spirits as these often have a higher sugar (and therefore caloric) content. One of our favorite ways to keep a drink low cal is to start with silver tequila and fresh citrus juice like in a Paloma or our low-cal Cleanse-arita.
