While most people think eggnog has alcohol in it, the traditional recipe simply calls for eggs, sugar, cream and spices, but why stop there? Spiking your homemade eggnog with a spiced rum or whiskey will bring out the festive flavors, while keeping you nice and toasty. There are also plenty of pre-made Alcoholic Eggnogs for sale, like Evan Williams made with Bourbon Whiskey. Homemade, or pre-made there's nothing better than a mug of Spiked Eggnog in front of the fireplace.
