Moonshine, a once forbidden southern spirit has recently made it's way into the mainstream with several brands launching their own high proof versions. As a neutral grain spirit, it does not have much flavor on its own which is why it makes the perfect blank canvas for some fun fresh infusions. We chose to pair tart fresh blueberries with basil to make this infusion stand out from the crowd. Try it served over ice with club soda, or mixed with some homemade lemonade.

Place the blueberries and basil leaves into the bottom of a 1.5 Pint Mason Jar and muddle gently.
Fill the rest of the jar with an unflavored moonshine of your choice (we used Firefly Moonshine) and seal with lid.
Give the mixture a good shake to distribute ingredients, and let sit in a cool dark place for up to 5 days, shaking occasionally.
After 5 days, strain ingredients out through a fine mesh strainer, and place your infused moonshine into a sealed jar.
Infusion will keep for several weeks refrigerated.

Tequila is totally trending right now, not only because it is a great spirit for summer, but some say it's main ingredient, Blue Agave has some major health benefits. We love sipping on a smooth silver tequila in a spicy margarita so we decided to take some of those flavors and infuse them directly into the spirit. We enjoy serving it on the rocks topped with a grapefruit spiked seltzer, or just plain club soda with a wedge of citrus

Some spirit lovers may raise an eyebrow to anything that alters the smooth flavor profile of bourbon, but trust us this infusion will keep even the most strict liquor aficionado coming back for more. The classic hints of sweetness in bourbon are brought to a whole new level when combined with the natural flavors of fresh peach and blackberries. You can enjoy this infusion on its own over ice, or with ginger beer and a spring of mint.

Turmeric Root, the peppery cousin to Ginger is known for its distinct golden orange color. Due in part to its many health benefits and unique flavor, the Turmeric Root is on the verge of having it's 'Moment' in American kitchens everywhere. We've combined fresh Turmeric root with tangy pineapple and tart lemon rind for an earthy, sweet infusion that pairs well with spicy ginger beer and squeeze of citrus.
