From spicy to tart, every Bloody Mary lover has their favorite recipe they swear by (we'll take extra horseradish and lemon in ours, please). If you want to kick up your favorite pre-made mix, try adding pepper or cilantro flavored vodka. No matter how you prefer to mix it up, we think any Sunday that starts with your favorite Bloody Mary is a good one.


  • 3 oz vodka of your choice 
  • 1.5 cups tomato juice
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp horseradish
  • 3/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Hot Sauce to taste
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges & celery stalks to garnish

Don't be afraid to go over-the-top with your garnish. From deli meats, to fresh shrimp cocktail you can make a meal of your bloody mary.


  • Citrus juicer
  • Jigger
  • Measuring cup

How to Mix

  1. Place all ingredients into a pitcher and mix to combine. 
  2. Stop and taste the mix before serving, adjusting things like heat and horseradish levels as you go.
  3. Divide evenly between three glasses filled with ice
  4. Garnish with fresh lemons, celery stalks and more.
  5. Enjoy. 

If you're planning ahead you can combine all ingredients except the vodka and store in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to 3 days. Add vodka and stir well just before serving.
