Jenga, everyone’s favorite block-stacking game, has a drinking version that is way more fun than the original.
To play Drunken Jenga, first you will need a Jenga set. (Or you can make your own if you are handy like that.)
Second, you’ll need a sharpie or a pen.
Finally, you’ll need some creativity, so you may want to invite some of your more clever friends over to help you build your set.
Before you can begin playing, you need to write instructions or rules on each block. Examples of what to write on your blocks include:
- Take 1 drink
- Take 2 drinks
- Pick an opponent to take 1 drink
- All the girls drink
- All the boys drink
- Down your entire drink
- No more talking for the rest of the game, or finish your drink
- No pointing allowed, or finish your drink
- Make your own rule
- Tell an embarrassing story (they don’t all have to be about drinking.)
Still stumped what to write? Google is here to help. Here’s a site with tons of ideas to get you off and running.
Once you’ve done all that, you’re ready to play. Set ’em up, and begin the game. Every piece you successfully pull, you need to execute whatever is written on it before placing it back on top. That’s all there is to it.
Jen-ga! Jen-ga! Ja-ja-jen-ga!
